Fall is going full-swing now. Many of our patients are enjoying those crisp autumn walks, and posing for some pretty adorable seasonal photos. Puppies and kittens are often extra frisky at this time of year. Older animals may not be as mischievous, but they also need a bit of additional care as temperatures drop. Grooming
Your pet’s fur coat will protect them from the worst of the weather. However, mats, tangles, and dead fur reduce the insulating abilities of that pretty coat. If Fido had a short summer ‘do, it’s time to let it grow out. As for Fluffy, she may need a hand taking care of all that fur. Brushing your feline buddy regularly will help her look and feel her best. Dental care and, for dogs, nail trims are also important.
